Lloyd Daniel George

Lloyd Daniel George, 57, of Monett, passed away Feb. 1, 2019, while at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, following a sudden illness.
George was born Oct. 28, 1961, in Iowa City, Iowa. For over 25 years, he worked for WinTech in Monett. For several years, he participated in a motorcycle toy drive that raised money for children’s Christmas presents. He also was an avid golfer, loved his pugs and mostly, loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include: his wife, Diane, of the home; sons, Travis George, of Monett and Mason George, of Pierce City; daughter, Jamie Brownlee (Chip) Thompson; seven brothers; one sister; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Services will be held from 2-5 p.m. Feb. 16, 2019, at the Monett South Park Casino. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
