Lloyd Earnest Maloney

Lloyd Earnest Maloney, 84, of Salida, Calif., passed away Nov. 20, 2018, in Modesto, Calif. He was born in Barry County Dec. 30, 1933, to the late Arthur and Hattie (Farrington) Maloney. In 1951 he was married to Wanda Eileen Moudy; she survives.
He retired from the Ford Motor Company in Kansas City and was a veteran of the United States Army. Maloney was a Christian man and was actively involved in the Liberty Church of the Nazarene where he attended for the past 34 years.
Maloney is survived by his wife Wanda of the home;  son, Jerry Maloney of Englewood, Colo.; daughter, Janet Apfel of Ripon, Calif.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents Maloney was preceded in death by: daughter, Connie Fern; sisters, Beulah Jones and Helen Bacon; brothers, Ray, Hollis, Albert, Arthur Jr., Estell (Shorty) and half-brother Harold Quick.
Visitation was held Nov. 30, 2018, at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Funeral services were held Dec. 1, 2018, at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett. Burial followed services at the Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
