Lois “June” Marbut

Lois “June” Marbut, 86, of Monett, passed away Dec. 24, 2018, while staying at Lacoba Homes in Monett. She was born in Verona, May 28, 1932, to the late Loren and Nora (Lawson) Crouch. In 1949, she was married to Fred Marbut in Berryville, Ark.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Easyville Fundamental Methodist Church in Easyville.
Marbut is survived by: her husband; daughters, Janice (Mike) McFarland of Springfield, Carolyn (Tom) Hutchens of Monett and Donna (Mark) Gulliford of Monett; brothers, Earl Crouch of Burnice, Okla. and Ron Crouch of Mt. Vernon; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: brothers, Norris J. Crouch and Bob Crouch; sister, Annabelle Justus; and infant son, Douglas Marbut.
Visitation was held Dec. 27, 2018, at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Funeral services followed at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett. Burial was at Bethel Cemetery near Monett. Memorials may be made to the Easyville Fundamental Methodist Church. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
