Lora Faye Wilson

Lora Faye Wilson, 82, of Lockwood, formerly of Miller passed away Oct. 18, 2018, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood. She was born June 16, 1936, in St. Louis, to the late Johnny T. and Pearl Mae (Blair) Vaile.
Wilson was a 1953 graduate of Miller High School and received her associate’s degree in nursing from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. She taught and loved music and could play any instrument. She liked to sew and cook and was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Lamar.
In1970, she married Dr. William Fiedler, he preceded her in death in 2002. In 2004, she married Ira Scott Wilson in Roanoke, Texas.
Wilson is survived by: her husband; daughters, Debra (John) Shore of Cedar Valley, Okla., Milia (Danny) Engelage of Lockwood, and Sandra (Gary) Anthony of Roanoke, Texas; sons, Douglas Fiedler of Kansas City and Alan (Barbara) Rickard of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; step-children, Randy Wilson, Molly Wilson and Jamie Watson; brother, Wesley Snyder of Miller; sister, Rozella White of Billings; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; She is preceded in death by: previous husband, Dr. William Fiedler; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter, Emma Shore; and brother, Avon Snyder.
A visitation was held Oct. 20, 2018, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller with a funeral service that followed in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at the Sycamore Cemetery northeast of Miller. Memorials may be made payable to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home.
