Louisa Stella “Lou” Cantrell

Louisa Stella “Lou” Cantrell, 78, of Aurora, passed away Oct. 20, 2018, at the Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon. She was born Sept. 5, 1940, in Winslow, Ariz. to the late Joseph and Antonia (Gonzales) Gallegos.
She was a 1959 graduate of Winslow High School in Winslow, Ariz. and was owner of the Cardinal Café in Aurora. In 1961, she married Larry Wayne Cantrell. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Cantrell is survived by: sons, Larry (Lori) Cantrell of Monett and Mitch (Alonda) Cantrell of Aurora; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Anita Cantrell; son, Anthony Cantrell; one sister; and two brothers.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, was held Oct. 23, 2018, at the Summit Cemetery. Memorials may be made payable to the Lawrence County Manor, in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at www.CraftonCantrellFuneralHome.com.
