Louise M. Young

Louise M. Young, 82, of Marionville passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 in the Aurora Nursing Center.
She was born to Melvin and Frances (Faucett) Garringer on May 16, 1937 in Mt. Vernon, MO.  She worked in the cafeteria in the Marionville School and housekeeping at the Methodist Manor.
Louise married Carol Young April 26, 1958.  Louise and Carol loved traveling.  They made many trips in their motor home and spent many Springs in Hawaii.  She also enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband, Carol of Marionville; one daughter, Carla Peterson of Aurora; one son, Bruce Young (Diana Gaff) of Branson; daughter-in-law, Karen Young of Marionville; one brother, Junior Garringer of Lamar; one sister, Betty Foraker of Springfield; 6 grandchildren, Julie (Chad) Choate of Springfield, Toby (Kaylyn) Young of Marionville, Melissa Young (Jesse Serna) of Medford, OR., Jeremy Jeffords of Marionville, Katlyn Young (Jordan Buttolph) of New York, N.Y. and Jessica Peterson (Rodney Wilson) of Marionville; 8 great-grandchildren, Madelyn Choate, Laynie Johnson, Makenzie Choate, Bentley Young, Adrian Serna, Letty Peterson, Mateo Serna and Rodney Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Young; one brother, James Garringer and one great-grandson, Jensen James Dent Jeffords.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the Peterson Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery.
