Marionville long-term care facility site of Law. Co. COVID-19 outbreak

In a May 11 Facebook post, Ozarks Methodist Manor, Marionville, announced that it was within their facility that six residents tested positive for COVID-19, the only confirmed cases in Lawrence County. The six cases, plus the original case at the same site, brought the total to seven cases not only at the facility, but countywide.
The first confirmed case within the operation was a resident who had recently been to the emergency room at a local hospital. The resident, however, to this day shows no symptoms.
Upon the first confirmation, everyone in the facility was tested which led to six more official cases—all of whom showed no symptoms. Following protocol, the group of seven was moved to one wing of the outfit to isolate them from the healthy residents.
Additionally, it was reported that all employees at the health center were tested for COVID-19 and all tests returned negative.
The Lawrence County Health Department announced the first positive case May 2, and the second round of confirmed positives May 7. Citing federal privacy rules, the department was not at liberty to divulge the location of the outbreak.
