Mary Elizabeth Brunner

Mary Elizabeth Brunner, 101, of Springfield, formerly of La Russell, passed away June 6, 2019, at the Manor at Elfindale in Springfield. She was born Oct. 15, 1917, in Red Oak, to the late Derbrow Winfield and Bessie Lenore (Hagler) Williams.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Plew Extension Club and the Plew Missionary Group. In 1941, she married Loren Elmer Brunner, in Springfield. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Brunner is survived by: her niece, Carol Ann (Calvin) Pyle of Golden City; nephew, Eugene (Martha) Charles of Springfield; and several great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, was held Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Red Oak Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.FossettMosherFuneralHome.com.
