Mary Ethel Garoutte

Mary Ethel Garoutte, 85, of Aurora, passed away Oct. 15, 2019, at the Aurora Nursing Center. She was born Jan. 15, 1934, in Halifax, N.C., to Harry and Ethel (Walter) Gibson.
She worked at the Juvenile Shoe Factory in Aurora, Tyson’s in Monett and for the Aurora School District. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3948 in Aurora. She married Henry Wayne Garoutte in 1969, in Miami, Okla.; he preceded her in death in 2006.
Garoutte is survived by: brother-in-law’s, Terry Garoutte of Aurora and Danny Garoutte of Marionville; sister-in-law, Connie  (Les) Pracht of Walnut Shade; good friend, Tommy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; sister-in-law, Betty Bowman; and brother-in-law’s, Jim, Bill and Rick Garoutte.
A funeral service was held Oct. 18, 2019, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Burial followed at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.CraftonCantrellFuneralHome.com.
