Mary Ruth Griesbaum

Mary Ruth (Lechner) Griesbaum, 80, of Aurora, MO. passed away in her home on December 1, 2019.
She was born on May 10, 1939 to Albert and Gertrude Lechner in Verona, MO.
Mary graduated from Verona High School in 1957.  On November 26, 1964 she married Eugene Griesbaum.  They had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.  
Mary was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Aurora, MO.  She was a homemaker and she enjoyed spending time with her family, including her four children, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Mary also enjoyed working on word searches and loving on her dog, Allie.
Survivors include her husband, Gene; one brother, James Lechner of Aurora; one son, David Griesbaum of Aurora; three daughters, Gina Smith and her husband, Ken of Springfield, Tina Horn and fiance`, Paul Burnett of Aurora and Sara Siegrist of Aurora; 6 grandchildren, Jessica (Horn) and her husband, Nick Stellwagen of Verona, along with their three children, Jacob, Jaycee and Jhett, Shania (Siegrist) and her husband, Kage Etherton of Aurora, along with their son, Neyland, Jacob Horn of Nixa, Derek Smith of St. Louis,  Devin Smith of Fayetteville, AR. and Madison Siegrist of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
 Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 5 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Verona.
Rosary will be held Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home with visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m.
