Maxine Elizabeth Henson

Maxine Elizabeth Henson, 90, of Aurora, passed away May 31, 2019, at the Aurora Nursing Center. She was born Aug. 12, 1928, in Aurora, to John Earl and Jessie May (McClelland) Kimbler.
Henson worked for Vasey Bristol Shoe Factory in Marionville and retired from the housekeeping department at the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Vernon. She was member of the Elm Branch Church. In 1944, she married John Harold Henson in Marionville; he preceded her in death in 1992.
Henson is survived by: daughters, Ruth (Jerry) Pinkly of Verona and Lisa (Richard) Gerry of Mt. Vernon; sons, John (Tresa) Henson of Galena, Thomas (Jan) Henson of Aurora, Ronnie (Janice) Henson of Verona and Keith (Lesa) Henson of Crane; 19 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; brothers, Clovis Kimbler and Jay Woods; and sister, Kathleen Branham.
Services were held June 4, 2019 at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Burial followed at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora. Online condolences may be shared at www.CraftonCantrellFuneralHome.com.
