On Monday, July 4, the Miller High School Military Honor Committee hosted its second annual "Stand & Salute" 5K. Despite the scorching heat, an estimated 100 runners showed up for the event. Mt. Vernon resident Kadence Oehlschlager and Stephen Foster of Webb City were the top female and male runners of the race.
