Modesta V. Reyna

Modesta V. Reyna, 89, of Monett, passed away July 27, 2019, while at the Republic Nursing Center in Republic.
She was born Nov. 4, 1929 Manzanola, Colo., to the late Florentino and Concepsion (Nevarez) Vasquez. She had lived in Colorado until moving to Missouri in 1999. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  
Survivors include: daughters, Norine  (Stan) Dalton and Nora Reyna; sons, Leroy Curtis, Ron Vasquez and John Reyna; sister, Louise Sipnefski; and a host of grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Reyna was preceded in death by: her husband, Marcello Reyna; daughter, Teresa Saylor; and siblings, Jesus, Rufus, Anthony, Raymond, Jennie, Mary, Pete, Sisto, Josephine, Tillie, Jesus, Socorro, Charlie and Florentino.
Reyna wished to be cremated. No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
