Mt. Vernon’s Farmers Market wraps with Christmas theme

 The Mt. Vernon Chamber of Commerce hosted Christmas at the Market, the chamber’s last farmers market of the year. Due to the inclement weather, only two vendors were at the market, Gypsy Wagon Bakery, which sold baked goods, and Connie Phelan, who sold eggs. Despite rain and cooler temperatures, the vendors reported a steady flow of customers and numerous sales.
