Mt. Vernon Community Teachers Association awards presented

The Annual Community Teachers Association Awards were presented prior to the boys varsity basketball game on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
This years awards go to Children’s Emergency Services- Friend of Education; Ammie Rinker- Associate of the Year; Anna Bowerman- Rookie of the Year; Blenda Moore- ELC Teacher of the Year; Jessica Daugherty- Elementary School Teacher of the Year; Kendra Emerson-Intermediate School Teacher of the Year; Rachel Zerby- Middle School Teacher of the Year; and Khelon Hayes- High School Teacher of the Year.
