Mt. Vernon Farmers Market opens with a bang at chamber
Under Community Garden management, the Mt. Vernon Farmers Market hit the ground running this season with a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting at the Mt. Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce the morning of Saturday, June 6.
A sign announcing all of the vendors on hand for the June 7 grand opening is displayed at the chamber. The day’s event also included live music performed under the new pavilion at the chamber.
