Mt. Vernon High School FBLA wins big at districts

The Mt. Vernon High School FBLA competed in districts on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at New Site Baptist Church in Monett and they returned with a lot of hardware.
The following students received medals in their categories: Logan Antrich- first place (Accounting I) and second place (Business Law); Ayden Barnes- second place (Accounting) and fifth place (Business Law); Hanna Bushman- fourth place (Intro to Business Concepts and Intro to Business Communications); Akaymi Cummins- fourth place (Organizational Leadership); Jenna Delay- first place (Accounting 2); Chandler Kelso- third place (Marketing); Ashlyn Matthews- first place (Hospitality Management and Security Investment) and fifth place (Business Calculations); Kiera Monroe- fourth place (Journalism) and fifth place (Business Communications); Izzy Rutherford- first place (Journalism); Daniella Salas and Jenna DeLay- first place (Sales Presentation); and Allie Schubert- third place (Organizational Leadership).  Next up, 10 students who medaled in the top 3 will advance to the State Leadership Conference which will be held in Springfield in mid April.
