Mt. Vernon High School Serve Day

Mt. Vernon FFA’er Sean Orr paints the floor in the print shop of the Lawrence County Record during Mt’neer Serve Day, Tuesday, Nov. 23. Originally started by the FFA Chapter, the now high school-wide event places students in the community to help with betterment projects. This year, 320 students and 31 adults donated 1,930.5 hours of volunteer service to the community. Orr was joined by Gavin Johnston, Jaden Kultgen, Cody Simmons and Advisor Steven Prewitt.
