Mt. Vernon High School Show Choir brings home the win at Joplin competition

The Mt. Vernon Show Choir traveled to Joplin on Saturday, Feb. 4, to attend the Joplin High School “In the Spotlight” Show Choir competition. They performed their competition program titled “The Main Event” a story about two boxers and continuing to fight even when you get knocked down.
They competed and brought home first place in the Class 3A division competing against three other schools.
Their next competition is the Nevada Show Choir Classic, scheduled for 10 a.m. on Feb. 18 at Nevada High School.
