No violation of law after review of complaint in State Auditor’s Office

Statement from Auditor Galloway after Secretary of State finds no violation of the law after review of complaint filed by dark money political organization
Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway released a statement after being notified by the Secretary of State’s Office that it has closed the review of the State Auditor’s Office. That review of a complaint from a dark money political organization found her office has followed the law.
“Since this review began last month, my office has complied with inquiries from the Secretary of State’s Office. As I said from the start, no laws were broken. I’m pleased Secretary Ashcroft came to the same conclusion.”
