Nora Jean Call

Nora Jean Call,  87, of Miller, passed away Feb. 15, 2019, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon. She was born July 21, 1931, in Miller to Jess and Ada (Catlett) Call.
Call was a 1949 graduate of Miller High School and after graduation she moved to California to join some of her brothers and sisters. She was a United States Air Force veteran serving from May 24, 1950 until Nov. 2, 1951, at the Ellington AFB in Houston, Texas. She worked various jobs and in her spare time she sold Avon for 43 years.
Call is survived by: sister, Alice Mandich, of Escondido, Calif. and two nieces and six nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Lowell, Harold, Otis and Kenneth Call; sisters, Beulah Borum Spero and Opal Thompson; and three nephews.
A private memorial service was held at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller. Memorials may be made payable to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at www.FossettMosherFuneralHome.com.
