NORMA LEA WILLIAMSON

Norma Lea Williamson, 92, of Cassville passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. She was born in Cassville on Nov. 30, 1932; the daughter of Arthur and Edith (Writer) Dilbeck.
On May 11, 1951, she married Rondal Gene “Tex” Williamson in Eureka Springs, Ark. They were married for 56 years before he passed away on Sept. 24, 2007.
She grew up and attended school in Cassville graduating in 1951. She was employed by the Barry County Recorder’s Office from 1952 to 1962, and owned and operated 7 Valleys Motel in Cassville with her husband from 1962 to 1987. She then worked at Williamson’s Jewelry in Cassville until 2009. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (David) Craig of Cassville; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tex; her parents; her son, Kelley Williamson; two brothers, Lloyd Dilbeck and Floyd Dilbeck and two sisters, Arvilla Meador and Irene Snyder.
Services were held on Friday, Feb. 14, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Pastor Dallas LaCaze conducting the services. Burial was at Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield.
