NORMA STROUSE

Norma Strouse, 90, of Monett, Missouri passed unexpectedly on Monday, January 20, 2025, at her home. Norma was born in Monett on December 23, 1934; the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Parkison) Moore.
Norma graduated from Monett High School with the class of 1952. Throughout her life, she worked several jobs, but the most important to her was that of being a wonderful wife and mother. Norma was a member of Waymark Church and always enjoyed spending time with her family.
Norma married Loren Strouse on August 17, 1957, in Monett, Missouri. They were blessed with over 54 years together. To this union, three children were born. Loren preceded her in death on April 20, 2012.
Also preceding her in death were her brother, Bob Moore and sister, Marjorie Long.
Survivors include her son, Mike Strouse, of Monett, Missouri; two daughters, Debbie Bass and husband David of Pierce City, Missouri and Diana Hobbs and husband David of Monett; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Strouse were held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Buchanan Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Martin officiating. A private interment was held for the family.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Monett Historical Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
