Once Upon a Mattress takes stage

The Mt. Vernon Community Theatre performed their production of “Once Upon a Mattress,” a musical based on the fairy tale “The Princess and the Pea,” last weekend at the MARC. In this play, Prince Dauntless hopes to find a princess to marry, but his mother, Queen Aggravain, creates impossible tests for each princess who hopes to marry him, thus keeping him single.
