PATSY “PAT” LEE (HADDOCK) LAMB

Patsy “Pat” Lee (Haddock) Lamb, 88, of Branson West passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, after a battle with cancer. She was born in Verona on Oct. 19, 1936; the daughter of Ernest and Ethel (Baugher) Haddock.
She graduated from Verona High School as valedictorian of her class and accepted a scholarship and graduated from the University of Missouri on June 6, 1958, with a Bachelor of Science in Education. After graduation, she accepted a teaching position in Sanders, Ariz. where she met Keith and they married in December 1959.
She taught until she was 80 years old. In 2017, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award for teaching. She was a real estate broker while living in Denver, Colo. and in 1988 retired to run a bed and breakfast in Lampe named Grandpa’s Farm. She taught Sunday School, bible study, and on some occasions played the piano or organ for the church service. She also coached a boys youth softball team, authored five books, and wrote columns for the Crane Chronicle and Missouri Pathways through fall of 2024.
She is survived by three children: Charles (Kelly) Lamb, Patricia (Lamb) Poe and Kenneth Lamb; sister, Rosemary Nelson; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Keith; son, David Lamb; and three sisters: Ernestine White, Helene Bonous and Wanda Lechner.
A candlelight service was held on Friday, Feb. 7, at First Baptist Church in Kimberling City. She was laid to rest on Saturday, Feb. 8, in Spring River Cemetery in Verona.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel in Aurora.
