Peggy Ann Ball

Peggy Ann Ball, 83, passed away in Marionville Methodist Manor Oct. 21, 2019.
She was born on April 28, 1936, to Monett “Monty” Myer and Ethel Myer Oswald.
She married Everett Ball at the Christian Church parsonage in Verona, in 1954. She had worked with her husband their entire married life, owning businesses including: Ball TV and the Cash Variety Store in Marionville, B Inn and 37 Cafe in Pierce City. Together they also owned the Dairy Mart, Aurora Satellite, E’s Inn in Aurora and E’s Inn in Republic.
Ball is survived by: daughters, Rebecca (Dennis Juvan) Paratore of Naples, Fla. and Brenda (Richard) Rybak of West Plains; four grandchildren; five great-grand-children; sister Monte Kay Myer Carder; two brothers-in-law; one cousin; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend Beverly Mooneyham. She was preceded in death by her loyal and devoted husband, Everett J. Ball, both parents and sister, Marian Chapel.
Services were held Oct. 25, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett with graveside services following at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett. Memorials may be made to Seasons Hospice or Phoenix in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
