Phyllis Mitchell

Phyllis Mitchell, 58, of Pierce City, passed away June 19, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, with her family by her side. Mitchell was born in Prairie Grove, Ark. on Jan. 11, 1961. She was the daughter of William and Clara (Neese) Clark.
Surviving are the following: husband, Robert; sons, Kenneth Carver of Pierce City, Mike Carver of Miller and Darren Carver of Miller; five step-children, Tracey, Stephanie, Heather, Eric and Ethan; sisters, Debbie Green of Pierce City, Theresa Clark of Gorin and Andrey Hill of Elkland; brothers, John Clark of Indiana and Basil Clark of Ash Grove; and eight grandchildren.
Mitchell will be cremated at her request under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City. Family memorial services will be held at a later date.
