Pineapple Peach Dessert
The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Pineapple Peach Dessert by Nona Stogsdill
20-oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
8.5-oz. can sliced peaches, not drained
18.5-oz. pkg. white cake mix
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
Sweetened whipped cream or ice cream
Spread the drained pineapple and undrained peaches onto the bottom of a 13x9 baking pan.
Combine the cake mix, nuts, and melted butter or margarine. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over the fruit.
Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Serve topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
