RAYMOND GORDON ROBINSON

Raymond Gordon Robinson (Mackie), 87, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Jan. 18, 2025. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on Aug. 29, 1937.
He served his country honorably as a member of the United States Marine Corps before embarking on a career as a sales manager for several construction companies.
He is survived by three children: Melissa, Megan, and Ian; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Carole.
Graveside services, under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, were held on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.
