Renee (McClure) Campbell

Renee (McClure) Campbell, 63, of Mt. Vernon Missouri, passed away on January 21, 2021 at the Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO. She had breathing complications from a battle with Covid-19.
Renee was born on March 14, 1957. She was the beloved daughter of William & the late Joan (Phillips) McClure of Canonsburg PA. She was a 1975 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
Renee, remarried in 1990, is survived by her loving husband, of 30 years, Eddie Campbell of Mt. Vernon, MO. She became a dear step-mom and grandmother to Ed’s family.
Renee suffered from severe osteoarthritis and Lupus. She was unable to pursue a career in drafting as she had hoped, but she did fill her time with her family, friends, and antiques. She was known for her love of antique shops, yard sales, and auctions. Renee made a successful hobby of decorating and staging of antiques and cute decor. She made many dear friends in the process, especially from the New Beginnings Antiques in Billings, MO.
Renee is the beloved mother of Jennifer Taylor (Trent) of Ellicott City, MD and Matthew Golubosky of Saint Mary’s, PA. She was also the step-mom of Marlana Murray (Rick) of Republic, MO, Jackie Lewis (Mikey) of Republic, MO, (late) Daniel (Sandra) Campbell of Mt. Vernon, Lisa Kerrutt of FL, Bob Campbell of Aurora, MO, Keri Campbell of Carthage, MO, and Edwina Manning of Mt. Vernon, MO. Renee has several grandchildren who will miss her dearly: Bellana, Annaka, and Ryker Taylor of Maryland. Dylan and Justice Murray, Brady and Kalen Lewis, Ariel Johnson, Nealon Manning, Amber Phillips, Tristian and Robert Campbell, and Austin Baugh- all of Missouri. Kolby, Chad, and Khea Kerrutt of Florida. Renee was also the “fake” grandma to Taylor Marsh of Springfield, MO.
Renee was a dear sister to her brother William McClure Jr, sister Melissa McClure (Mike Hartman), and late brother Jeffrey McClure. She was the aunt of Liam Dunn, Celia McClure, and McKayla Hartman. Renee was also the great-aunt of Amelia Thompson.
Renee was loved by so many and we will always carry her sweet smile and memory in our hearts.
