Ricky Dean Swearingen

Ricky “Rick” Dean Swearingen, 60, of Cassville, passed away April 15, 2019 at his home. He was born July 22, 1958, in Monett, to Dayton Lee and Barbara (Neely) Swearingen.
Surviving are: son, Ricky (Jessica) Swearingen and his wife Jessica of Cassville; daughters, Angela Dawn (Donnie) Swearingen of Cassville and Cindy Ann (Shane) Beck of Cassville; the mother of his children, Teresa Swearingen; brothers, Gary (Sara) Swearingen of Cassville and Terry (Debbie) Swearingen of Marionville; sister, Teresa (Russell) Addison of Cassville; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a host of family. Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Sandra Sue Swearingen; brother, Randy Swearingen; and one grandson.
For several years he was owner and operator of Rick Swearingen and Son Logging before retiring. He had also been employed at Tyson and George’s. Some of his favorite pastimes were arts and crafts, hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville.
Services were held April 20, 2019, at Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at Horner Cemetery in Cassville.
