Riding the wave
Mt. Vernon teachers wave to students from inside their car as it slowly rolls through the Mt. Vernon square during a teacher parade Wednesday, March 25. Several teacher driven cars—which included a police escort—flew balloons, touted signs and were marked with window paint as they caravanned their way through Mt. Vernon, an effort to remind the students they were missed.
