ROBERT HASSELL “HASS” CARLIN

Robert Hassell “Hass” Carlin, 82, of Monett, MO passed away on Saturday evening, Nov.19, 2022.
Hass was born on Feb.15, 1940 in Monett, son of the late Armond Sidney Carlin and Sibyl Lois (Browning) Carlin. Hass graduated from Monett High School with the class of 1958. Hass served in the National Guard and was a member of New Site Baptist Church.
He married Sandra Lyons on Dec. 23, 1994. They were blessed with over twenty-seven years of wonderful memories made together.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; his son, Greg Carlin and wife Heidi; his daughter, Linetta Thurman and spouse Nancy Bader; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren,  as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Hass was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Beverley; two brothers, Kirk and Curtis; and two sisters, Barbara Sagehorn and Avonell Avondet.
Memorial visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, at Buchanan Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 6 p.m. with Reverend Aaron Weibel officiating. Private interment will be in New Site Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to New Site Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
