RUBY ALICE (BUTLER) CANTRELL

Ruby Alice (Butler) Cantrell, 83, of Ridgedale, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 30. 1942, in Cato, Missouri; the daughter of Millard and Ilie (Dillon) Butler.
She married Charles Cantrell on March 18, 1960, and he survives. 
She is also survived by three children: Patricia Carr of Cedarville, Michigan, William Cantrell of  Monett, Missouri, and Tiffany Johnson of Ridgedale, Missouri; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Pauline Jennings and Mildred Jennings both of Aurora, Missouri; her special dog, Meeko; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Joseph Carr, and a son-in-law Robert Carr.
There wasn't a person she met that she didn't greet with a smile. She worked at Clay Cooper's Theatre in Branson for many years, right up until she got sick. She loved meeting all the different people who came into the theatre. She was loved by all who met her. And, most importantly, she loved her family and they meant everything to her; she would fight for them all.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, July 22, in Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, Missouri. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel in Aurora, Missouri.
