RUTH ANN BROWN

Ruth Ann Brown, 88, of Marionville passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville. She was born in Tulsa, Okla. on Jan. 16, 1936; the daughter of Jesse and Daisy (Wilkerson) Hurst.
She was a 1953 graduate of Enterprise Academy in Enterprise, Kan. She worked as an insurance adjuster for Williams Company in Tulsa, Okla. and was an Administrator for Lucile Page Manor in Sand Springs, Okla.
On July 30, 1955, she married David Brown, in Tulsa, Okla. They were married for almost 57 years when he passed away on April 10, 2012. On May 14, 2016, she married James Leslie in Canyon Lake, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, James; one son, Mark (Becki) Brown of Shell Knob; one daughter, Sue (Michael) Vickers of Golden; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, David Brown and one great-grandson, Otto Lee Franz.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Williams Funeral Home in Marionville.
