Ruth Elizabeth Adams

Ruth Elizabeth Adams, 100, of Prescott, Ariz., formerly of Verona, passed away Oct. 25, 2019. She was born Aug. 14, 1919, in Industry, Kan., to Daniel and Stella (Sword) Engle.
Adams was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Aurora. In 1939, she married Arlie Adams, in Ontario, Calif.; he preceded her in death in 1986.
Adams is survived by: sons, Rudy Adams of Renton, Wash., Wayne Adams of Prescott, Ariz. and Paul Adams of Neosho; sisters, Marion Brubaker of Pennsylvania, Josephine Hoff of California, Roberta Powell of Idaho and Dorothy Jackson of California; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and five brothers.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, was held Nov. 5, 2019, at the Spring River Cemetery in Verona.
