Sergio Adrian Salas Rueda

Sergio Adrian Salas Rueda, 14, of Monett, passed from this life unexpectedly Sept. 16, 2019.
Rueda was born Aug. 7, 2005 in Aurora, son of Carlos Salas and Erika Rueda. He was currently in the eighth grade at Monett Middle School, where he enjoyed playing in the band and was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene in Monett. He was an aspiring musician, avidly listening to hip-hop music. He enjoyed playing video games, swimming and going to amusement parks. He mostly loved spending time with his family and friends.
Sergio is survived by: his parents; brother, Derwin Hernandez; sister, Amairany Garcia; paternal grandparents, Jose and Maria Salas; maternal grandparents, Santos and Angelica Rueda; five aunts; three uncles; as well as a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by aunt Jessica Rueda.
Funeral service was held Sept. 19, 2019 at the Church of the Nazarene. Interment followed at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett. Memorials may be made to the Salas Family in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
