SHERRY ANN EVANS

Sherry Ann Evans, 66, of Springfield passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 27, 1959; the daughter of Royetta and David Flinn.
She was a hard worker and made a living in various factories to support her family.
She is survived by her mother, Royetta Flinn of Aurora; her significant other of 11 years, Larry Hammers of Springfield; three sons: Jason (Jennie) Guess of Fordland, Jon (Michelle) Guess of Mt. Vernon, and Jeremy (Ashley) Guess of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Bobbie Evans of Springfield; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Flinn.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, at the Aurora Baptist Temple in Aurora.
