SUSAN LYNETTE AIRRINGTON

Susan Lynette Airrington, 71, of Aurora passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at her home. She was born in Downey, Calif. on March 31, 1954; the daughter of Virgil and Rita (Dible) Durlin.
She was a 1974 graduate of Long Beach High School in Long Beach, Calif. She was a parts manager for Williams Volvo in Buena Park, Calif. She moved to Aurora in 2018. Prior to that, she lived for 20 years in Verona.
On Aug. 19, 1990, she married Lloyd Vernon Airrington, in Las Vegas, Nev. They were married for almost 42 years when he passed away on April 29, 2022.
She is survived by two step-sons, Michael Airrington of Riverside, Calif. and Robert Airrington of Palm Springs, Calif.; three sisters-in-law: Ethel (David) Burns of Oak Grove, Marylin (John) Pinkerton of Calera, Okla., and Eleanor Gallaway of Oak Grove; three brothers-in-law: Richard Airrington of Pleasant Hill, B. Louis Airrington of Bates City, and Alan (DeAmbra) Airrington of Oak Grove; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Louis Harvey; one brother, Virgil Durlin; stepson, Mitchell Airrington; and her brother-in-law, Butch Airrington.
Graveside services, under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, were held on Friday, July 25, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
