Ted Bogart

Ted Bogart, 90, of Springfield, passed away March 1, 2020 in the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon. Bogart was born in Mansfield to Charles and Clella Bogart Jan. 30, 1930.
He attended Aurora High School,  in Aurora, and then went on to attend Southwest Missouri State College, Springfield. He went on to work for the U.S. Medical Center for Prisoners and St. John’s Regional Hospital and retired from both after many years. He married Bette Jean Brittenham in 1960 .
He is survived by: son, Alan; daughter-in-law, Michele; brother, Fred; several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his wife; his parents; and brothers, Henry and Floyd.  
Visitation was held March 6, 2020 with services that followed in the funeral home. Burial followed at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements were entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home DeGraffenreid – Wood Crematory in Springfield.
