Three Mt. Vernon school records broken

Three Mt. Vernon track athletes have opened up the 2019 spring season by setting new school records. Sadie Heisner (right) broke her own pole vault record of 11’ by upping the record to 11’9”. Bethany Williams also broke her own javelin school record distance by throwing 82’6” at Springfield Catholic last week. Payton Dennis broke the girl’s javelin record Friday at Marshfield, throwing 85’2”.
