Tractor Supply holds grand opening

Surrounded by supporters from the community, Amber Smith, Tractor Supply, cuts the ribbon at the ceremony marking the Mt. Vernon store’s grand opening on Friday, Nov. 17. The new store, which is located in the building that once housed Orscheln’s, carries a wide line of merchandise, including pet supplies, farm equipment, clothing and more. Smith said Tractor Supply has new options for shoppers, including BOLPIS (Buy Online, Pick up in Store), where the customer can purchase merchandise online and pick it up at the store location. There is also Ship to Shop, where if an item a customer wants is not in stock at the store, then Tractor Supply will either ship it to the store or directly to the customer’s home.
