Wanda Lee Tunnell Spencer

Wanda Lee Tunnell Spencer, 78, of Marionville, passed away Nov. 22, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was born Dec. 7, 1939, in Madry to Lloyd and Fontella (Timmons) Tunnell.
Spencer was a 1959 graduate of Waterford High School in Waterford, Mich.  She retired as an inspector after 13 years from Tyson Foods in Monett and she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marionville. In 1967, she married Charles Adron Spencer in Rochester, Mich.  He preceded her in death in 2016.
Spencer is survived by: daughter, Bonnie Duncan of Nixa; sons, James Spencer of Joplin and John Spencer of Marionville; sisters, Betty Campbell of Carthage and Patricia Vaught of Crane; brothers, Robert Tunnell of Waterford, Mich. and William Tunnell of Michigan; four grandchildren; and a host of family. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sister, Ruby Collins.
A memorial service, under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home, in Marionville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Marionville.  A private burial will held at a later date at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery.
