Wayne Leon Doyle

Wayne Leon Doyle, 81, of Aurora, passed away Aug. 8, 2019, at the Mercy Hospital in Aurora. He was born July 12, 1938, in St. Clair, to John Cecil and Mae (Price) Doyle.
Doyle was a 1958 graduate of Niangua High School in Niangua. He was a retired computer programmer for the United States Army serving during the Vietnam era. He was awarded the bronze star medal for meritorious service on Feb. 20, 1970. He was a member of the Aurora Assembly of God Church. In 2005, he married Geraldine Allen in Jenks, Okla.
Doyle is survived by: his wife, Geraldine; sons, John Doyle and his wife, Patty, of Ava and Michael (Karci) Doyle of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Linda Doyle of San Antonio, Texas, Terri McDonald of Parker, Colo., Karen Carlisle of San Antonio, Texas and Brenda (Ramie) Mitchell of Schertz, Texas; brother, Kenny Doyle of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters; two brothers; and two sons-in-law, Wayne and Joe.
