Wesley Calvin Weeks

Wesley Calvin Weeks, 86, of Halfway, passed away Jan. 30, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born Sept. 13, 1933, in Springfield, Colo., to Roy Edgar and Ester Alma (Thompson) Weeks.
Weeks was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He worked for A&A Tire Service’s in Kerrville, Texas and was a member of the American Legion. He married Vera Mallard Nov. 3, 1957, in Miami, Okla.; she preceded him in death Aug. 10, 1986. On Nov. 18, 1986, he married Shirley Ward in Aurora and she preceded him in death in 2007.
Weeks is survived by: his children, Doris Snider and Wesley Weeks, Jr., both of Aurora, Beatrice Seal of Herman, Sam (Susan) Weeks of Tunas and Steven (Stacey) Weeks of Halfway; step-children, Pam Fitzgerald of Rogersville, Penny (Wally) Anderson of Orofino, Idaho, Beverly (David) Muncelle of Port Neches, Texas, Tina (Jason) Spivey of San Antonio, Texas and Bo Ward of Canyon Lake, Texas; sister, Zelma Gann of Nixa; sister-in-law, Janet Weeks of Rogersville; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his first and second wife; brother, Robert Weeks; brother-in-law, Willard Gann; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, will be held Feb. 8, 2020, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
