Wuanita Ann Witt

Waunita Ann Witt, 87, of Pulaskifield, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, surrounded by her family. She was born in Monett on Feb. 17, 1935; daughter of Odie V Williams and Pearl (Taylor) Williams. A graduate of the 1954 class of Monett High School, she stayed active in planning her class reunions for many years. She married Edmund Witt on April 20, 1955 in Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Pulaskifield.
Surviving are her husband, Edmund of Pulaskifield; one son, Mark of Pulaskifield; two daughters Melissa (Don) Gaskin of Savannah, Ga.; Crista (Dean Burden) of Pulaskifield. Her 10 grand-children; 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Odie and Pearl, her sister Lois Messer, one son, Greg Witt and three grandchildren—Darien Witt, Aden Burdett, and Wyatt Humes.
Funeral Mass was held at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pulaskifield on Monday, Oct. 17th. Burial followed at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in Pulaskifield. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
