Orvan Lee Adams, age 88, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 3:46 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at his home. He was born June 15, 1935, in Brighton, Colorado, the son of Lorren and LaVerne (Fassnacht) Adams.

Rose Mary (Dacy) Strick, 90, passed away on Aug. 24. She was born on May 23, 1933, in Wentworth, the daughter of William and Marie (Knoetzel) Dacy.
She graduated from Pierce City High School in 1951 and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Max Gene Sanders, 82, of Aurora passed away on Thursday, Aug. 31. He was born Sept. 9, 1940, to Glen and Inez (Henry) Sanders.
He married Marcia Sanders on Oct. 17, 1959, and they were married for over 63 years.

Kaye Lester, 75, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, at the Lawrence County Manor. She was the fourth of 12 children born to Charles and Nancy (Williams) Stockton.
She married Henry “Hank” Lester on Sept. 21, 1948.

Joe Speed Haskell, 85, of Marionville and Aurora passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 29. He was born on July 12, 1938.
A Texan by birth, he was a four year Navy veteran and a hardworking farm, orchard, and ranch hand who lived a full and adventurous life on his own terms.
