Alan R. Burney, 67, Mt. Vernon passed away Feb. 8.
Visitation will be 12–1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Lucille Smothers Quinn was born July 1, 1918, in a sawmill community named Broadwater east of Malden, the daughter of Marion “Jack” Smothers and Gretta Parker Smothers. She passed away at the home of her daughter on Feb. 4, 2021 at the age of 102.
Richard Earl Person, 74, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., passed away Jan. 31, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Ind. He was born July 31, 1946, in Aurora the son of Edward C. (Jake) and Alice Person Brechbuhler.
Joe Carl Smith (96) formerly of Marionville and Aurora, MO, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 3, 2021. He was living with his son in Charlotte, NC at the time of his passing.

Gary Eugene Harris, 80, of Springfield passed away Jan. 23, 2021, at Jordan Creek Nursing in Springfield. He was born Aug. 12, 1940, in Clay, Ky., the son of Marion Eugene and Georgie Louise (Head) Harris.
Wendell Gene Spain, 62, of Springfield passed away Jan. 22, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Spain was born in Butterfield Aug. 10, 1958; the son of Ersten and Flossie (Nicoles) Spain. He graduated from Pierce City High School in 1976.
Cynthia G. Burns, 61, of Aurora passed away Jan. 22, 2021 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
She was born to Robert and Charlotte Fleeman Westbrook on March 19, 1959 in Dell City, Okla. She was a homemaker.
