Pearl Cleo Hood, 90, of Miller, passed away May 30, 2019, at her home. She was born April 16, 1929 in Hancock County, Ill., to Harold Everett and Gladys Cleo (Mapes) Mosher.
James Ellis Stockton, 41, of Aurora, passed away May 29, 2019 at Cox South in Springfield. He was born on Feb. 7, 1978 to Carol (Wormington) Stockton. He was married in 2012, in Ridgedale, at Integrity Hills at Big Cedar Lodge to Tessa Balmas; she survives.
Orville Eugene “Gene” Mills, 81, of Jenkins, passed away May 24, 2019 at this home.
He was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Shell Knob, to Orville John and Mildred Pearl (Holt) Mills. In 1996, he was married to Eula Mae Dotson, who survives.
James J. Dalton, 89, of Aurora, passed away May 23, 2019, at Mt. Vernon Veteran’s Home. Dalton was born in Kansas City July 28, 1929, to Homer and Gertrude (Gear) Dalton. Dalton served his country in the U.S. Army from 1951-1956.
Cody Michael Weatherman, 30, passed away May 27, 2019, in his hotel room in Pennsylvania while working over the road.
Weatherman was born Aug. 1, 1988, in Springfield, to Tim and Michele. He was raised in Aurora, where he graduated high school in 2007.
Betty “Jeanne” Johnston, 78, of Aurora, passed away June 2, 2019 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was born to Buell and Marie Stout Iiams in 1940, in Rocky Ford, Colo. She was a retired quality control officer for MWM Color Press.
Noel Henry, 81, of Marionville passed away May 29, 2019, in his home.
He was born to Eyzart and Nancy Cloud Henry Dec. 22, 1937 in Ponce de Leon. He was a retired welder.

He was born to Alvin Sr. and Carrie Hendricks Cooney Nov. 4, 1932, in Mariana, Ark. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Otis Lee William Gatewood, 62, of Stotts City, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family May 23, 2019. He was born on May 24, 1956 in Springdale, Ark. to the late John and Kathleen (Kimbler) Gatewood. He was married in 1976, to Cherry Shephard; she survives.
