Aurora's "Zeros For Heroes" receives grant

Rodger Wheeler, president of Zeros4Heroes, received an additional $100 community grant from Aurora's Youth Empowerment Project Director Kim McCully-Mobley this summer to continue the efforts to support area veterans and their families.

City clerk, alderman resignations accepted at Miller town meeting

The Miller Board of Aldermen voted to accept the resignation of City Clerk Candace Englind during their meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Englind’s resignation is effective Friday, Aug. 16.
